Description
In honor of the recent nba trade deadline I thought it would be a interesting concept to do mock nhl trades at the same value nba trades have (I chose the hawks cause they are rebuilding and have a lot of trade rumors)

These are obviously all a joke but I thought it would be pretty funny to compare

You put alot of thought and effort into this.

I don't watch enough of the NBA to know how accurate your comparable are, but nice work

Does anyone (including NBA executives and NBA team executives) understand the salary cap in the NBA, and how equal $$$ must be traded between one team and another.
Thanks for your analysis and the work you put into this. But like real NBA trades, it just gives me headache when I try to understand them.

The NBA uses a soft cap and hard cap, you can’t exceed the hard cap. But if you exceed the soft cap, you pay a luxury tax.
