trading the 22 first is risky but i think boeser could push us over the line to the playoffs. DeMelo seems like the exact guy Hughes needs and Lucius is a great prospect that could potentially replace boeser in the future. I think it’s good for both teams

Giving up Lucius would hurt. The Jets got another steal getting him at #18, he's a stud and will score a lot of goals in the NHL. I'd rather make that deal in the offseason and send the 2023 first.

The Jets really don't have the cap space for Boeser. He's barely worth his contract now and is due a large QO. The Jets would have to move other better players to bring him in.

Boeser would be a luxury and not worth the cost of acquisition or his next contract.
