Sandin Niemela and a first is likely the requirement. But honestly I think Dermott would have value to other teams. Especially one like Arizona. Cheap contract. RFA. Play him top 4 minutes to see if he can do something. No harm no foul. But his time in Toronto is done.

Wow, a horrid trade for the Leafs. Giving up so many assets for a LHD... a position that has has depth. And Crouse is just a 3rd line winger. Then to leave the Leafs with just six NHL Dmen, assuming Muzzin is out for awhile. Of the course no thought of the cap implications this year and next.
