Description
It looks like Seattle wants to be a competitive team sooner rather than later. This would make that a reality. Their issue is they still need a #1C but maybe Beniers can step in soon?

Schwartz-Beniers-Eberly
Gourde-McCann-Oshie
Wennberg-Eller-Donskoi

Oleksiak-Carlson
Dunn-Larsson

That's a good looking team though they could use 1 more game changer on forward.

For Caps they get younger and faster, which they desperately need.

Not sure Seattle makes that trade. That’s a lot of money to have locked up for some older players

Yeah it's really hard to tell what they want to do. Seems like they want to be competitive so the trade would make sense, but if they were smart they would just keep selling and building.

Not only that, but that first is going to be good, and they get slower on defence. I believe they may need a offensive defence man, but one that is a little faster. Like Barrie, or Klingberg for example. I’m also thinking there is a good chance that Seattle is going to bring up Beniers to be their 3C for next year.. in my opinion, they don’t really need Eller.

That is one of the worst trades I have ever seen. That would destroy the caps
