Description

I like Monahan but he has ended up being the odd-man out if we hope to (a) add depth to make a playoff run and (b) shed cap for off season signings. If we are going to sell young assets/picks (Dube, Valimaki) to go for it, may as well trade for players with term (like we did with Toffoli).

I like Miller but he is not returning a top 4 right defenseman from any contender. Maybe you can get Lundqvist or Bear but that's about the best RD options out there. You are better off trying to find one with Boeser
