I personally think that is horrible value for the Islanders. A mid to late 2nd rounder and an AHL player who has put up 1 goal and 5 assists in 30 games at the NHL level. Mayfield is an established #4 D-man on an amazing contract. He will fetch a lot more if he is traded

bad offer, Isles don't consider this at all. Besides, Mayfield isn't moving. He plays top 4 minutes, great contract at 1.45M and we have no one to replace him.
As it is, is the offseason we need a 2 Defenseman - we only have Pelech, Pulock, Mayfield and Dobson.
