Description

Obviously just fooling around but if Yzerman wanted to there is some serious money he has to make some moves. Need basically everything so just threw some bodies in here. Only one not sure about is Maata, is he a shut down defender type? Probably not but we need one of those not necessarily him just a youngish veteran that's good at defending and mobile to play with Seider.

Need a second line center, maybe Kadri? Rust is from MI, Maybe they throw crazy money at a goalie and then promote a few blue chip prospects. Whatever.

Interesting. Not sure if Yzerman - the disciplined leader as a player - would go for Kadri but he would definitely bring grit and talent.

Nazem Kadri more term, Bryan Rust more money and term. Olli Maatta no thanks. Ville Husso only need 2 years until Sebatian Cossa is ready and it wont take 5 years.

I doubt Rust will sign that. Don't know much about Maatta, but he also seems overpaid based on his stats. He's only averaging 18 min a night in LA so I doubt he's gonna be our go to guy at LD. I like Kadri but would probably want a bit less for his contract. I think Husso would be a good pick up though. Maybe a bit overpaid here. He's only had 2 seasons in the nhl and both as a backup.

Kadri scares me. A short deal maybe but if he wants like 5 or 6 years at that number no. He's always had some skill but this kind of point explosion is bananas. Ill take any of those workman like ld in free agency. Maata, cole, chairot, anyone at this point. Can't see Rust.
