Riemer offers stability in net because if Jack goes on a run we are set but if he doesn't Riemer can provide above average goaltending which is more than the leafs have had for months, Middleton is a good solid d-man and can move in or out for sandin depending on the situation if they need size and defence or skill and offence, Harmonic is Imo a very underrated defender and could be a good option to solidify the top 4 if for no reason other than to shake it up and hopefully get Muzz back to his usual
For Vancouver they get a decent prospect and a pick for a guy who they havent used a ton this year, if they flip it for a younger player that can help now and in the future would be smart
SJS gets a bad contract but could be a redemption story for mrazek and has potential to be a good goalie for them for years, they also get a young roster d-man who they can try playing next to a star on their Blueline, a pick, and a decent prospect who could make the team in a year or two which might lineup with the arrival of some of their top picks in the last draft and the next couple
