Description
Avs load up adding to the roster, when Landeskog and Girard return they will be deep and hard to play against. Detroit can flip Murray to someone in need of LD in 3 way as they likely dont benefit from this player directly in trade

Detroit isn't giving Namestikov away. Murray and the 5th are both throw aways... 3rd round pick or equal or higher value or it's not happening.

namestinkov probably gets a 3rd or 4th.

philly trade makes sense but i'm guessing they don't want compher. jost would have made more sense to philly but since he was in seperate deal im thinking murray gets moved instead. or maybe no roster player.

Murray isn't a dump. He'll be a useful 6/7 Dman on the AVS as cover for Byram/Girard. Depth like that is a luxury in the playoffs. He's played very well the last couple of weeks.

I wouldn't do Murray for Namestnikov. AVS should be adding, not making sideways moves.

I don't think Sakic is very keen on trading Olausson, especially with a 1st attached.

I don't like Murray's game so I have no interest in him in Detroit. Namestikov is incredibly versatile and Detroit doesn't need depth players, they need impact players, so the trade just doesn't make any sense from a Detroit perspective. Regardless of the perceived value of either player, this trade proposed here is not a fit for Detroit.
