Description
-Idk if Muzzin would play right side but I would like to see him and Rielly as a pairing
-I would like to see Brodie and Gio together and maybe rekindle some of the Norris season magic
-Decided to scratch Engvall because when I watch him play I get frustrated by how little he throws his body around, he has great scoring ability, but lacks physicality

Engvall has been really good this year. Allows very little offensively and doesn't score a pile. That's a huge benefit to the bottom 6. Don't give up anything and I don't care if you never hit a guy ever.

I agree. It's been quite interesting watching him this year, his poise with the puck has gotten so much better. Like night and day compared to last year. I've also been really impressed with his decision making and seems to consistently make great decisions. If only Nylander could learn that consistency.

Nylander has much improved his consistency. It wouldn't even be talked about if he played for a different team than TO. The media always needs something negative to talk about so they blow up what they can and dumping on Nylander is low hanging fruit. Way too many Leaf fans want everyone to be Matthews and Marner and when they aren't they suck

Totally agree that TO media creates some unnecessary scrutiny on players. However I disagree entirely that Nylander has much improved on his consistency. Nylander's skill is undeniable, I've multiple times defended him on this site. BUT, he is super frustrating to watch at times. I've watched just about every game this year and I will say he has looked much better in the past couple games, last night was really good. However, he's still far too often too passive on the play. He coasts, doesn't stop on the puck and makes simple giveaways too often for me to say he is a consistent player. TO media aside, if he cleaned up some of those little details, he wouldn't be on the 3rd line.

I am not worried about Nylander, I bet he turns it up big time in the playoffs
