Description

Kakko has a lot of potential, but he hasn't quite broken that boundary due to injury and poor deployment. Sharks could do with picking up a young promising player that has a huge amount of potential. I think playing alongside Couture and Dahlen would give him a great opportunity to flourish and break out. If you offer sheet him at around 4mil you only give up a 2nd; and if the Rags matched, it would screw them cap wise. Also offering him term would scare Drury and make the offer even more enticing for Kakko to sign.

It's gonna take more than $4Mx2 for the Rangers to let go of a recent #2 overall pick. They might be forced to make moves they don't want to make, but matching that seems like a no-brainer.
