Description
BOS-NYI Trade

There have been a lot of trades involving Forbort or Reilly to NYI. Here, we get both. Forbort fits well with Dobson, Reilly fits well with Mayfield. Both players don't move the needle too much by themselves, but they both fit in perfectly with this defense to make it a strong unit. Bruins give Bellows a home (he'd love it in Boston and fit in so well), and give them some cap space to re-sign Bergeron.

---

VAN-NYI Trade

Unfortunately for the Islanders, Beauvillier is the only moveable forward in the top-6 to gain flexibility and improve scoring. Boeser has disappointed somewhat, but I think would be a great fit with Barzal to finally give him a young, goal-scoring wing.

---

BUF-NYI Trade

Sabres need a starting goalie, Varlamov only has one year left on his deal so low-risk. This can be anyone (MIN, CHI, VGK).

---

Isles bring back Greiss to replace Varlamov and give Sorokin a strong backup (even though Greiss has slipped a little the last two years).

Canucks decline. Beau is a downgrade, we don’t need Salo with our surplus of LHD

That trade doesn’t really help the Canucks

Personally I like that Bruins trade if Panik is only taking up 250000 buried in the minors.

Bruins can find cheaper bottom 2 Dmen in the off-season only thing is for some God forsaken reason Fortbort was given a NMC so hopefully islanders aren’t on his 8 team list

Okay, i like this trade for the bruins as long as they instantly buyout panik, and have a plan for 3LD. Perhaps moving two guys like that would send the right message to zboril, and they could retain him.

I would consider this for the Canucks. I like Beauvillier game and think he has room to improve offensively. This would also save Vancouver 2-3mil in capspace.

Not sure Salo is the right fit in Van but that's a minor detail to the base of the trade.
