I don't think Vlasic is up with the Hawks full time next year. He probably could be, but I think it would benefit his development to stay down longer, with small tastes of the NHL. Which I think is probably the plan, and it would also help with keeping the cost of his next contract lower.

Maybe. But if we ran back essentially the same roster, I could see a lot of these guys having much better seasons in 22-23. In which case, we would probably would be in the same position or better than 21-22, even without Kane.
