Description
Very excited to see how he does. He's got speed and he's got some nifty hands. Would be awesome to sneak in a 1st NHL goal before the season is done.

Literally none of them should be back. Suspect Gambrell might be an extra next year, but he's got no place on this team when Kastelic is here. Kastelic should have locked up an NHL job next year based on his 60% faceoffs alone.

Sens have a real opportunity to shed SO much dead weight this summer. Tierney, Gambrell,Gaudette and Zaitsev would be a massive addition by subtraction. Don't even need to do much in terms of the bottom of the lineup. Get a strong vet forward to push young 4th liners, and maybe a bottom pair D if they aren't comfortable with Del Zotto as the 7th (he's totally been fine). Just make the right moves at the top of the lineup and things should fall together.

I’d be shocked if he even gets a PTO next year

He played most of last season with a back injury if I'm not mistaken, and he really hasn't been the same. The last two years he's lost just about everything that made him such an effective player. He was always a brutal shooter but his skating went from mediocre to awful, and he lost his playmaking ability entirely. His defensive game completely fell off a cliff and he stopped being useful on the PK. I don't think he's an NHL player anymore, probably in PTO territory next year. Such a shame because he really was a pretty excellent 3rd line option for a time. For context Gambrell basically came in and blew past him on the depth chart, and Gambrell had 6 points this year.
