Sabres pass. Even if it gets them to the cap floor, some youngsters are gonna want to get paid in 3 years time and that term on Binnington -

Kostin hasn’t shown much at all in North America
Certainly not close to enough to entice us to take that crappy contract of Binnington off your hands
He’s gonna need to have a bounce back season (or two) before u get someone to take that deal from u guys (imo)

Tarasenko for 1st, 2nd

Not supper crazy, but I would hope that the Pens would offer Forsberg that contract than throw two picks at a 1 year remaining guy (even though comparable on ice)

I see that moving Jordan and Vlad off of the cap and adding Jacob, leaves the Blues $463,333 of cap space.
Binnington is over paid by about $4,000,000 per year, it will cost a lot more than Kostin for any team to absorb 5 years of that over pay.
Tarasenko would look really good in a Sabre uniform.
Replace Kostin with Vlad in the Binnington trade and Buffalo adds their 2023 second round pick.
