Trades
1.
PHI
  1. 2022 4th round pick (SEA)
Additional Details:
Seattle gets a top-6 winger for a year and can flip him retained for a better pick than a 4th at the TDL
SEA
  1. van Riemsdyk, James ($2,000,000 retained)
Additional Details:
Cap dump
2.
PHI
  1. 2022 5th round pick (TOR)
Additional Details:
I think with the Flyers having a necessity to clear more cap space to address top line talent, Lindblom becomes a product of the cap
ANA
  1. Lindblom, Oskar
Additional Details:
Lindblom would be a good add for a team with cap/roster space. Has 40+ point upside and a decent 200 foot game. Maybe not Anaheim as the team but anyone who can afford to add a winger
3.
PHI
  1. Nylander, William
Additional Details:
I think these are two teams who are going to try to make a significant change as a result of optics, and that a trade like this could be feasible
TOR
  1. Attard, Ronnie
  2. Konecny, Travis
  3. 2024 1st round pick (FLA)
Additional Details:
Added a 1st and Attard just as proof that I believe Nylander is better than Konecny and that Philly would be adding, although if I'm being honest I think this is a Philly overpay

Nothing about those 4 center men says "playoffs." Couts is second line and Hayes is a third line center. If you're going to retool at least bring in a number one center

Good trade with Leafs though

Couturier is still very much a 1C, Hayes is a middle-6 guy although better suited for 3C. Their problem is Hayes is going nowhere, Coots is going nowehere, and at this point they may as well see what they have in Frost as opposed to selling low on him when he looked like he was finally starting to figure it out at the end of last season
Farabee liked this.

I guess you are right, they aren't making the playoffs next year so yes lets see what Frost can do. Could be other surprise like Desnoyers and perhaps Jackson Cates. But I respectfully disagree about Coots. I hope I'm wrong

Wouldnt mind Hayes 3C and Frost 2C to start next season, especially if Frost continues his play from the end of the season. Really big offseason for him, hopefully he aces it
