Description

Probably undervaluing here, but assuming they might take a bit of a cut to keep the core together, I've got 13 and 19 taking about 9.5M per for 7-8 years.

As long as Pelletier has a good camp, I say they bring him up to give him some reps and save some cap.

Monahan, Backlund, and Lucic are the most likely candidates for trade (based on salary cap) even though they all bring something the Flames would miss (especially if Mony ever gets back into form).

Dube and Valimaki are the young pieces that could likely go too, unfortunately. But these moves would not just free up cap space but could gather some lost draft picks/prospects.

Backlund definitely should not be traded, he is the perfect mentor for a player like Pelletier. I doubt Kylington signs that cheap for that long either, more likely a 1 year deal in that price range.
