Jackets fans, what would the price be for texier?

I doubt edmonton doesnt match but theyre gonna be cap strapped and if kane gets his money there might not be enough for yamo and JP. If they have to pick 1 im assuming theyll go with yamamoto. Could also be zadina if puljujarvi gets matched or doesnt sign it. I know detroit has plenty of cap space but i could see yzerman sticking to his guns if he doesmt think zadina is worth that. Its also not terrible value for him.

Texier likely isn't for sale. The team needs to find 2 and maybe 3 top 6 wingers for the near future depending on how Bjorkstrand is holding up 3 years from now. Maybe he's available next summer depending on who the CBJ draft and how they develop.

Only way I could see him moving right now would be as part of a package for a top 6 C or top pairing RD.

Jarmo has been rumored to have the price as a 1st+. So likely something as 2023 1st lottery protected and a 3rd or a B- prospect.

I think he is available now but for the right price. Unless Jarmo sends down Chinakhov, Johnson, and Marchenko he is going to have to make trades.

He straight up said those rumours were baseless and that he was never shopping Texier. Someone just made that up before Tex's leave of absence was announced.

Sure, trades will happen. I see Bemstrom, Robinson or Nyquist leaving long before Texier though. Also, I could see Chinakhov spending time in the AHL. He was rough this past year.
