Honestly wouldn't be surprised to see Vegas do a trade like that. Are you very high on Luostarinen? He's a good player, but I see him maxing out as a 3rd line energy guy.

I'm probably higher on Luostarinen more than most people, I don't think he's had a good opportunity in Florida, I would like to see what he can do with more ice time and better line mates.

I think Vegas might be able to squeeze more out. I think other teams with CAP space could also offer more... With that said, Vegas has their hands tied and arent in a position to get fair value on anything at this point. The other issue is that BOTH of those guys have to either waive their NTC or have Detroit on their list. Moving them as a package might help each other adjust and/or take the trade. Overall I can see that working out and worst case Detroit tosses in a 5th or something to seal it.

Yes and no, I didn't sign him in any of these cause I would expect him, and kind of want him, to play in Grand Rapids. I know he could get called up in the season but my focus was just on the starting roster.
