Answering your question…it doesn’t work because Staal has a NMC and doesn’t want to go anywhere other than Raleigh.

Additionally - Unless JT Miller had a contract extension in place for a team friendly deal in the 4 year range…no chance he’s a Hurricane. I love him as a player, but I’ve posted about this recently - the fit between Miller and Carolina isn’t there unless it’s a rental price. This is not a rental price.

He is absolutely right they don't have the Cap to sign Miller that's the reason for the rental mentality. And you didn't qualify Boeser so he's gone too.
