At least another 1st and probably more. Lapierre is a good prospect but not a prospect with the potential to be elite which is the biggest issue in getting Cat.

I love Debrincat but the cost is too high given where we are. If we were just entering a Cup window, I'd say make the move for him. But our window has closed and we're trying to pry it back open, we can't do that by allocating all our potential trade pieces for one guy

Window is still open. Will be for the next 4 years. But depending what happens to Backstrom determines how big the window is. Sounds mean but hope he retires so we can use that money elsewhere.
