Description
Kadri comes back home, Leafs shake up the core. Please don't take this seriously. I just think this squad is unreal

Trades
1.
TOR
  1. Puljujärvi, Jesse [RFA Rights]
  2. 2022 5th round pick (EDM)
  3. 2023 6th round pick (EDM)
EDM
  1. Mrázek, Petr
  2. 2024 2nd round pick (TOR)
Additional Details:
Leafs need cap room, Oilers need a goalie. Mrazek doesn't work in Leafs system the same way Pulju doesn't seem to be working out in Oilers system. Maybe a high power offense helps him find his game
2.
TOR
  1. Roy, Matt
  2. 2022 4th round pick (LAK)
LAK
  1. Muzzin, Jake
  2. 2023 5th round pick (TOR)
Additional Details:
Leafs are stacked on the left side and can use an upgrade on the right. Muzzin likely doesn't waive his NMC for a rebuilding team and can be a solid leader for a young Kings squad.
3.
ANA
  1. Nylander, William
Additional Details:
Trade is straight up. Gibson gets his chance to play in front of a high tier club after years of being heavily relied upon in Anaheim. I'm a huge Nylander fan, but this club needs a shake up of the core guys. Toronto gets it's bonafide starting goalie, Anaheim gets an elite talent in Willy going into their rebuilding phase.

Oilers reject that horrible offer.

Really don't think it's that bad tbh. Mrazek would probably thrive in the Pacific division. Oilers need a tender that's better than Smith. Skinner Mrazek duo next year would definitely be an improvement

I think the Ducks are tempted by this offer, but I’m really unsure.

The main hang up from ANAs prespective is the uncertainty of Nylander staying in ANA past the 2 years he's signed

And trading Gibson for a player we would be pressured to win in the next 2 years with doesnt make much sense as we would have a huge hole in net to fill
