Huge overpay Miller is worth more, particularly if you retain him, you need to add something like Compher or Lehkonen for the Canucks even considering it

The issue with taking Miller is going to be his contract demands - he'll be asking for what Kadri is likely to get which means he'll be priced out of Colorado. Can't see the Avs making a deal like this.

I don't think this is an overpay by COL at all, this is more than a fair offer for one year of JT. Girard is a just turned 24 year old 2-3 Dman who has a great cap hit for the next 5 years. Add the picks and meh prospect, Vancouver definitely accepts.
