Throwing out the trash in a Mrazek trade isn't going to make Toronto raise it to a 1st round pick. It definitely won't make them move that pick back to a stronger draft.

Other than the NJD trade for Cat, the other moves are unfavourable for CHI except maybe the TOR which is close.

I agree, probably should have something coming back with Turcotte and I'd like a 1st for Murphy but a lot of other AGM have people reluctant do that because of Murphys injury history.

I have Kirby's value higher than Turcotte, both have dealt with injury tho Dach has more games under his belt and they are the same age.

I think if a team is really after Murphy they will pay a 1st or equivalent. He doesn't really have a bad injury issue, hawks were bad and didn't need to rush him back. He is a solid D man who could fit into virtually any teams top 4.

I also think best centre available is Cooley and he would be my pick at #2 if it were me in charge and we acquired the 2OA.
