Would Forsberg come when he finds out the guy feeding him has never played 3C let alone 2C? I think it would matter to him who his center is. This is a big risk (2 rookie centers) that could leave them out of the playoff picture.

Nah McMichael is 2C ready. His underlying numbers were amazing. He'll especially thrive with FF and Mantha on his wings.

Using Protas as a 3C is a little bit of a gamble but if for some reason he's a disaster (highly doubt it) they can try Lapierre and if that fails just trade for 1.

Would be a home run for the org if it worked out, roster construction and money wise I mean.

Would love Marchmont on this team too. Florida is fit to be poached and can do nothing about it right now also.

Yeah the more I look into him the more I love him. I would much rather have Nichushkin but that dude is playing himself out the Caps getting him. No way COL lets him walk.
