Description
Most likely no's from Buffalo, LA and Pittsburgh trades. But curious to hear your thoughts.

I put in Copp since he is a versatile forward that can play all 3 positions in place of Miller. They could pursue some one else such as Ryan Strome etc.

    1. Spence, Jordan
    Additional Details:
Most likely no from LA, but curious to hear your thoughts. One of the other RDs besides Clarke and Faber you feel that has less value on your team (Grans, Spence etc).
    LAK
    1. Höglander, Nils
    Additional Details:
I've seen lots of Garland for Grans. But just curious what you think about Hoglander since he also plays LW/RW that the Kings need? He's younger, somewhat cheaper and probably has more upside.

    1. Poulin, Samuel

Pens instantly say yes to that. We move back a couple spots in the draft? Okay thats basically a wash value wise.

So what are we doing? Zucker and Poulin for Miller retained? I'd do that as a Pens fan...instantly...

You could probably change that FLA first to a 2nd or even a 3rd to make value more fair. Poulin is good sure but he aint like some elite prospect. He's a late 1st rounder whos proven and shown NOTHING in terms of being NHL ready so far. Yes the pens havent given him the chance but he hasnt exactly made it impossible to not play him either...

Sabes with maybe, because it would has to trigger more moves:
    - Boeser extension
    - moving VO or Mitts
    - acquiring two RHD rather than one.

You would get way more than that even for an unsigned Miller retained.

I would say cut the retention and that’s realistic. Ask for more with the retention though. He may be a rental (and your value is really on point accounting for that), but the retention in Pitt is super important for their offseason plans, and you could milk something else out of them for it maybe

Los Angeles has plenty of forward prospects. We're looking for a top-line winger and a #1 LD as our primary off-season objectives, and our only real secondary objective is LD prospects, not left-handed-forward prospects, so Hoglander isn't someone we'd really be interested in.
