You really think Lou would go after Kane? As a player, I can see him succeeding in this lineup, but I feel like the whole, how do you put it, *everything* around him is just noise that Lou isn't going to want to bring into the organization.

Or to put it another way: he banished his own 2nd round pick from Bridgeport to Sweden because he wouldn't get the jab, why would he bring the Kane circus to Belmont?

A couple reasons. 1 barrys out and barry was very into the whole culture thing irdk how much lou buys into that. 2 maybe he saw kane in EDM last year and thought he could keep him under control in a very strong locker room. I just think that kane ending up on long island is such an islanders thing to happen with all the negative energy around him. Maybe he'll do a lehner.

I think your last sentence is why I'm not completely shutting it down - obviously none of us are in that locker room but if the culture is strong enough in there to keep Kane from being a distraction, I think he could be a good asset for this team. But I don't think I'd go longer than 3 years on the deal and I sure as hell am not giving out any NTC/NMCs on it.

I would rather Burakovsky, Palat or Nichushkin more than Kane not because of his game he plays very well and would be a perfect addition but he has the worst attitude and I wouldn’t want him in the locker room

Yeah idk if i want kane. On the one hand theres all the off ice stuff but on the other hand hes significantly better on the ice than anyone else in his price range.
