Description
Took a stab at what I believe could possibly unfold post-expansion, with the exception of a minor wishlist player.

Notes:

- Would love to grab Tavares but I know that it's a pipe dream (maybe will do another fantasy roster down the road).
- Simmonds is a guy I've loved as he's such a hard worker and goes to the dirty zones. Extremely talented. Would love for the Sens to dump the Ryan contract by sending him to his favourite, childhood team. Adding Dzingle as a speedy winger to negate Simmonds loss. Adds to speed/goal production along with Ryan.
- Sens get Phaneuf to waive NTC/NMC to protect Claesson from expansion. We convince VGK to take Wideman and toss along a 1st in 2017 to sweeten the pot.
- Boro and Hammy moves are self-explanatory (WPG needs goalie - DAL is random trade partner for contract, not sure if they'd take him or w/e). No room on team anymore for either, regardless.
- Lastly, we sell on Ceci while is value is a little higher. Sens fans will tell you all about his role this year and competition faced and how he's growing etc etc. I, as well as many others, see that his ceiling as been reached and he will not go any further. Tabled as a #2, he's sent to someone (chose Van just to swap a contract to place in minors - not sure of Brisebois' skill etc.)
- Oh, forgot to mention that Chabot joins the Sens this year. Despite some opinions, I think that he's shown that he's going to be more than capable of handling himself accordingly.

Let me know what you think. I still go back and forth on Draft Picks included, however, I think that compared to some people, mine's fairly rational.

Flyer pass. Ryan contract is horrendous and none of those players going back can replace Simmer. Colin White and Logan Brown and a 2nd or 3rd would be what they are looking for.

Both trades suggested by this thread and your counter offer make no sense. Sending B.Ryan contract will cost the Sens, let alone getting a stud in return. And asking both C.White and L.Brown makes absolutely no sense for the Sens. Maybe they would let one of them go in a package deal (I doubt it) but never both, even if the return is Simmonds.

Haha like I said, definitely a pipe dream scenario! Bobby is a wonderful person but the contract severely hurts our team.

Did my hw on the point totals though.. They roughly even out and Dzingle is only in his rookie year. I think that Ryan would be reinvigorated after the playoff run and then playing for his fav team. Not sure with respect to PHI salary but thanks for the comments though!

How so? I think that they're pretty rational as opposed to some of the wild threads I see on here. Our team more or less stays the same but with some things that are potentially on the horizon - i.e. Wideman to Vegas as they're not gonna let EK's BFF/defense partner in Methot go (especially how he performed in playoffs), Ceci traded (rumours all of the time), Claesson/Harpur stepping up and showing that we don't need Boro anymore, Hammy being DONE with org, Chabot/White coming up at least for a few games before decisions are made, Pyatt comes back 100% whereas Stalberg is possibility if he doesn't want too much money.

Let me know! smile

Edit - Sad part is that we know Eugene won't spend! :'(
