This is awful. Firstly, Holl is substantially better than Stralman. That's not much of a debate, just watch the two guys play. So if you are going to hold a $2million 7th dman, it might as well be the better guy. Would also rather keep Kerfoot if this is the exchange. More versatile and a better PK player. I don't get running a 23 player roster and I don't get signing a player to $1million+ and he's on the bench. And good luck if that's your 2nd pair. Teams are going to run through them in the dzone. Go look at the wild numbers the big dmen were getting at UFA today. Not a single one of them is as good as Muzzin.

What are you talking about.......Holl is not even close to be substantially better than Stalman and you will realize this when the Leafs trade him in the next 2 months.

You want to keep Kerfoot.......then you are keeping a good player who never performs when it counts in the playoffs......Only a fool would go into a NHL season without a 23 player roster which includes a 7th dman and 2 extra forwards.

Lol Holl very much could be traded. I would personally trade him. Again, since it must be tough to read, if you are going to hold a $2million dman as your 7th (which is just stupid cap management), than I would RATHER IT BE HOLL OVER STRALMAN (I put it in all caps for you my boy). He definitely is better.

Lol again, KERFOOT OVER PEARSON. Would also move Kerfoot, but not for another middle six guy at the same cap hit. Lol reading comprehension is tough out here eh?

Every contending team goes into a season with a non 23 skater team. Especially ones like Toronto where the AHL team is 10mins away. It makes zero sense. It could mean adding a better, higher salary player instead, or at minimum banking the extra cap space.
