Description
I know it’s very unlikely but I would love to see this team. This would be Poile going all in to the extreme to win the cup. The guy can’t have many years left so why not go for it

idk why johansen is being included in these trades like the flames would view him as a valuable piece. He’s still overpaid, and would be viewed as a negative value asset. Not that the rest of the deal comes close to getting Tkachuk anyway

No one is paying for sissons, at least none of the "cap dump" teams will.

Where has this narrative come from that Sissons is a cap dump? He’s a solid third line center who can be on a team’s #1 PK making 2.8 million. He’s also one of the best faceoff guys in the NHL and is very solid defensively.

Because you're trading him to Anaheim in this AGM, or one of the other cap dump teams. So he is either a legit cap dump (you appear to be getting rid of him for no other reason than you need the cap space) or you couldn't be bothered to find a fit for him on a contender.

It really doesn't matter to Anaheim, Arizona, Buffalo, or Seattle, I'd you are offloading him to clear cap space to one of them, it's a cap dump, and you have to pay to get it done. If you think you can get market value for him, shop him around somewhere he will fit a need.

It wasn’t my post, but I get what you’re saying. I was just curious since I’ve seen a few comments about his contract being awful from other people, and it doesn’t feel that way from the perspective of a Nashville fan.
