Don't really see why the Ducks would send a pick to the Leafs. Really no reason at this point to help them out of their self-created cap issues.

I can see Anaheim taking a Klingberg-like speculation on Kerfoot (gambling that some contender might want to pay a second for him at the trade deadline), but I think that the price would be Grant plus our 2023 fourth or else the later of our two 2023 thirds.

I'd send them Grant and that's it. If his points take a major hit in Anaheim, or he gets hurt, we are out of the pick. If we are going to gamble on him I want to be counting cards. No reason to spend the pick when there is currently zero market for a middle six rental at 3+ mil, AND Toronto needs to move cap out anyway if they hope to keep Sandin.
