If he plays 1C I would put money on him. I feel like this years winner will just be who gets the most opportunity between mctavish, power, berniers, and johnson (+ maybe a couple others).

If that ANA trade was a reality, it would have happened before we traded Bjorkstrand. Moving cap is expensive in the flat-cap. I doubt ANA would have done us that charity.

Assuming he gets back to form, Korpi would be a TDL insurance policy for some contender. Not sure I see that as AZ.

But yeah, great goal from KJ yesterday, good tourney so far. Hopefully CBJ give him a good top-six role, and don’t do the whole “you have to work your way up from the 4th line” thing that too often kills these prospects.

Best Anaheim can do is Nyquist and your 2023 2nd gets you a warm body in Derek Grant.

Cap space costs a pretty penny this year.
