Chychrun -gt Toronto

As much as I would love for TOR to do something like that. Chychrun isn't near the value of the return. Even removing the first and second picks it is an overpay.

Yeah sorry that's not it. Maybe as an Arizona fan, you see that as good value for Chychrun but the Leafs can't afford to give up a roster player of quality like Nylander and then be expected to give up big assets like a 1st and Knies let alone other pieces like Kerfoot and a 2nd. It just doesn't make sense from a competitive standpoint.

Nylander for Chychrun would be a 1 for 1 (which would be a huge mistake on the Leafs part imo) or it would be Chychrun+. If Chychrun is getting Nylander+, he's probably a Norris candidate (but it's probably would be a mistake).

Chychrun's health isn't great, but if Sandin holds out until the last minute or for the entire season, then if the ask dropped to Sandin+(something less than a first), that's probably the only time it would be worth for the Leafs to add Chychrun.

I'm guessing Ottawa will acquire him for Brannstrom+a 1st/good prospect + a 2nd/3rd though if the ask on Chychrun comes down.

I cannot imagine the leafs would offer that. Take out nylander
