Description

I don't feel AJ has a home, and both AJ and Bastian are put on waivers, although could be McLeod if management feels his court case with Hockey Canada will go South anyway. No idea if either goalie stands out as a full-time starter, I expect Ruff to go with a hot hand.

If Bernier comes back around Thanksgiving, the Devils can put him on waivers as well and with the $1m cap room they get from that they can carry an extra forward if needed, otherwise just carry 1F, 1D, and the extra goalie. Whenever VV or Blackwood need a rest, Bernier dresses as a backup.

While it would be nice to dump the AJ contract entirely, the Devils can still get away with enough room to run the roster.
