MTL
  1. 2023 4th round pick (SEA)

2.
MTL

SEA
  1. Wideman, Chris
Additional Details:
Like the last trade, low risk for seattle and they get a decent offensive defenseman
3.
MTL
  1. Lundkvist, Nils
Additional Details:
Spends more time as a fringe nhler and new york decides to get some value back instead of hindering his developement
NYR
  1. Dadonov, Evgeni ($2,500,000 retained)
  2. Hillis, Cameron
  3. 2023 3rd round pick (MTL)
  4. 2023 5th round pick (CGY)
Additional Details:
Dadonov has a decent season and is desirable for contending teams
4.
MTL
  1. 2023 2nd round pick (MIN)

Additional Details:
Monahan has a big bounce back season and shows his former offensive abilities
5.
MTL
  1. Välimäki, Juuso
Additional Details:
Decide to get some compensation for the prospect who never really developed
CGY
  1. Drouin, Jonathan ($2,250,000 retained)
Additional Details:
Drouin finally finds some consistency at a slightly lower point pace (50 or so) and Hughes decides to capitalize on his slightly increased value instead of letting him walk
6.
MTL
  1. Foligno, Nick
  2. Nosek, Tomas
  3. Zboril, Jakub
  4. 2023 1st round pick (BOS)
  5. 2023 3rd round pick (BOS)
Additional Details:
Get rid of a horrible contract and an ok one to make space and sacrifice the future for the present. (I'm not saying this is a good move from Boston but Anderson is a very unique player, and is especially good for the playoffs, only thing missing is consistency atm)
BOS
  1. Anderson, Josh
Additional Details:
The Big One. Anderson thrives alongside Kirby Dach and is on pace for 30+ goals. Boston, not wanting to give up on the core, gives in to Hughes's asking price to make another push.

A lot of these trades don't really make sense. Seattle doesn't have room for either player they're trading for, so they don't have a point to get them. Josh Anderson isn't fetching a first rounder, not at that contract. A second is probably fair considering how much bad contracts have tanked a player's trade value.

Foligno is not a "horrible" contract, especially come deadline time. He's not worth the money, but it's off the books after this year. Cant see him waiving his NTC to go to a terrible team.

Would love Anderson on the Bruins, just such a wildcard with that contract and at that price. Not sure I can see that happening

let's not forget to mention that the Bruins trade here would leave them without a pick in the first 3 rounds of the next draft. for a team on the fence of retooling I don't see them doing that.
