Description
How does Calgary get another pick in the first three rounds? I think if we are going to start using the prospect pool to fetch some NHL ready players, we need to re stock with picks or else we will be back to no depth in the system.

Jackets are wanting to move Murray for a center. We have defense, we need to bolster the offense. So Jackets would say no.

That's far too much for CGY to pay for Murray.

Kylington's ceiling is unknown, and a 1st is unrealistically steep based on going rates for #4-5 dmen who aren't young, proven possession beasts. Murray has a long ways to go yet to command that sticker price.

Sign/send Rittich back to Vegas for the Raanta piece. I like him as a player, but it would push Gillies to develop faster as the starter in AHL. CGY has a history of not resigning all the prospects (last year was like 4 out of 12 resigned or something close to that).

So let's just flip Kylington and Shinkaruk? Kylington to NY for Raanta and Shinkaruk to CBJ for Murray?
