Description
Tank Hard for Bedard - simple as that. Assuming Fletcher is fired and Briere takes over. For the Blues trade I forgot an explanation so here it is. I know you guys won’t like Scotty P and a 2023 first being moved but if Sanheim puts up a year similar to last year he should get a good return. Great analytics for an otherwise terrible defense corp.
Trades
1.
PHI
  1. Kemell, Joakim
  2. 2023 2nd round pick (NSH)
Additional Details:
Not sure how much the Preds value Kemell so Preds fans feel free to tell me he isn’t available. But Flyers get a promising winger prospect and a second. If Kemell isn’t available swap him and the second out for Svechkov, a 2023 first, and something else small
NSH
  1. Konecny, Travis
  2. van Riemsdyk, James ($3,500,000 retained)
Additional Details:
Preds get JVR as a depth scorer (this is assuming he is playing at his usual 20-25 goal pace) and Konecny who is a somewhat younger winger who has show flashes of being an elite contributor and should be a valuable second liner at worst
2.
PHI
  1. Perunovich, Scott
  2. 2023 1st round pick (STL)
STL
  1. Sanheim, Travis ($2,337,500 retained)
  2. 2023 3rd round pick (FLA)
Additional Details:
Extension in place
3.
PHI
  1. Turcotte, Alex
  2. Walker, Sean
  3. 2023 1st round pick (LAK)
Additional Details:
Flyers get a prospect who has elite upside but dealt with bad injury luck and a first and a defenseman
LAK
  1. Provorov, Ivan
Additional Details:
Kings get a top 4 defenseman who could slot in nicely with Doughty. Has shown good potential when playing with a good d partner
4.
PHI
  1. 2023 3rd round pick (TOR)
  2. 2024 4th round pick (TOR)
  3. 2024 7th round pick (TOR)
Additional Details:
More draft picks for Philly
TOR
  1. Braun, Justin ($500,000 retained)
  2. MacEwen, Zack
  3. Sandin, Linus

Blues say absolutely not
They just resigned leddy, people gotta remember that, if he went back instead of the first and Mikkola instead of Scotty it makes a lot more sense

I'd love to accept that offer as the Los Angeles GM but it just doesn't work from a cap perspective -- you'd have to add Alex Iafallo to even out the cap hits, and then that would require you to add some RW prospect (maybe Tyson Foerster) to even out the player value.

Yeeaaaa NSH declines due to lack of cap space. Might wanna check that aspect before making trade offers.

I actually think Provorov for Iafallo would be a pretty decent 1-for-1 trade. LA might have to add a mid-round pick to even out the value.

I mean ya, as a Flyer fan I’d do all of these. Especially if Konecny has a similar season to last year. Love Kemell. Turcotte though…his injuries scare me.
