1.
TOR
  1. Tolvanen, Eeli
Additional Details:
Only 11 goals and 23 points in 75 games last season but his 176 hits (27th-most among forwards), 45 blocked shots and 15 takeaways saw him develop him into a more rounded two-way forward. Tolvanen has shown in the past that he elevates his game when he plays with higher caliber players. With Philip Tomasino and new addition of Niederreiter it could push Tolvanen down to the 4th line. A great asset to have but IF he was made available, someone I think would be great as the 2nd line LW for Tavares and Nylander.
NSH
  1. Hirvonen, Roni
  2. 2023 3rd round pick (OTT)
Additional Details:
It is very possible that Hirvonen could develop into the Leafs own version of Tolvanen. Roni is shot making machine, last year he took 167 shots in the season, 95 on net for nine goals. His 95 shots were 30th in the league while only playing 14 minutes a night. Also cool, Liiga tracks hardest shot in games, Hirvonen had the hardest shot out of anyone on his team at 157 km/h or 95 mph! Compared to the league, that shot speed is seventh in the whole Liiga! Hirvonen is a very strong distributer and he scores for himself plenty as well. Plus he has the ability to play both Center and Wing.
2.
TOR
  1. Gawanke, Leon
Additional Details:
Good chance Gawanke doesn't make the WPG roster and could very well be lost on waivers. Leafs get solid dependable depth D
WPG
  1. Kerfoot, Alexander
Additional Details:
WPG get a very solid middle six forward. And if all shit hits the fan this year, will be a nice trade chip at the TDL.

I have kicked that Gawanke idea around in another post. Has size and sandpaper, and this person is right - someone is likely to pick him up on waivers. It is a smarter deal long term than many realize.

That Nashville deal is really interesting, but I doubt Poile bites on it.

With the additions of Neideritter and McDonough, I think the organization feels they can male a push with a great D corps and a deep forward pool.

Now, I see logic on the move, but to get Poile's attention, may have to add window dressing.

However, exactly the right kind of player the Leafs need on that 2nd unit.

Overall, an excellent ACGM.
