Description

I am definitely overreacting to the game on Sat but the Cat-Pinto-Giroux line but who cares. Joseph looked great in his short time with Norris and Brady before getting hurt and Batherson looked great with Stu at the end of last year. The top 9 all play the same mins 5 on 5. The fourth line plays some hard mins. Grieg comes up with any injuries in the top 9.

D is still a big question but if Sanderson and Braanstrom can grow into their roles by the end of the year, this team could get scary. JBD or Thomson comes up with injury or someone struggling so they can play top mins without having to sit in the press box. Heatherington as my 7th D but could be any vet/waiver pickup

Damn I wish we still had Connor Brown... Another time where Dorion lacked foresight. The HC scandal was already under scrutiny when he traded Connor Brown.

I agree it isnt great that Brown got moved but I think Motte provides to the team what Brown would be used for. Brown would be a defensive/pk specialist with the additons and Motte is alot cheaper. Young guys like Greig, Sokolov, and Jarventie can step into the top-9 if there is an injury too. I am taking zero PD slander after his offseason haha

Connor Brown has been pacing at 50 pts per 82 games in each of his 3 seasons in Ottawa, while being mainly used as a defensive specialist
