It's perfect.

I'll be even more excited next year when we'll likely see the big three up with the club to start the season.

Where does Dellandrea slot in when he's back? And who comes out?

Depending on how soon he comes back, maybe Johnston (if they only want to do his 9 game stint). If they want to keep him, then likely Kiviranta.

He’ll slot in the 3rd line, he earned it. If they send Johnston to Juniors, he’ll take his place and nothing else will change. If Kivi goes out then the bottom 6 will be:

Benn-Johnston-Dellandrea
Peterson-Faksa-Glendening (ideally Damiani, but we know that’s not happening).

Call me crazy, I still think DeBoer runs out the Marchment-Hintz-Gurianov line that has been so effective this preseason. Putting Seguin between Robetson and Pavelski is the perfect spark to reignite his offensive touch as well. A top-6 of:

Robertson-Seguin-Pavelski
Marchment-Hintz-Gurianov

is a very good & very balanced top-6 for Dallas.

Either or works, we know we’re getting quality either way, only thing I know is that those 6 players are locks for the top 6.

And a thing I find interesting is that in his whole carrer Pavelski has only played with a right handed centre during his rookie year’s in San Jose. Apart from that he’s always played regularly with left handed centres (when he plays as a winger).
