Description
Pinto gets a bit of double duty on the 2nd line but tried to balance the top 9 a bit. I think Brass proves to be a more productive member for the Sens than Watson.

Grieg is injured and the Sens won't put him on the second line right away. And Hellberg isn't injured.

I think there is some interest in bringing up Grieg to give him a look, but there is no way he would be C, Giroux would slide to C and he would play LW.

Also, the 3rd and 4th lines are not getting touched if possible, they have been playing way too good.

Now if they do slide Pinto up to 2C you would think Brassard still slides in 3C so you keep those lines as in tack as possible.

Lines in two weeks is in the title and Grieg played last night. The goal was to bring a young C up and insulate him with Giroux. Hellberg gets "injured so they dont lose him on waivers but, if they do not a big deal with Talbot coming back.

I know the bottom 6 has been great but, I think there is a chance it can be even better. It's like splitting up Norris Batherson and Tkachuk to start the season, there is a chance the team can be even better with a bit of a split-up. I like Brass with Pinto and Joseph to make it a bit more offensive without Motte and Motte is a much better player than Watson. I can easily get onboard wiht Giroux upthe middle instead of Grieg but, I like Griegs young legs in the middle. Let Greig and Giroux take faceoffs on their strong side.

Watson isn't in the lineup for his skill, that 4th line is pounding guys and intimidating the other team while eating up minutes and being sound Defensively, that out weighs the small amount of skill motte would bring to the 4th line, plus he hardly ever plays LW even last year.

The Center position in the NHL is more about faceoffs, play away from the puck, and defensive responsibility, Greig is not ready for that right out of the gate. you would be setting him up for failure at this time putting him in at C with Giroux is right there.
