Description
A few notes, been loving JBDs game but I still think he could use some seasoning in the AHL and he'll be the first call up if there's injuries.

Haven't loved parker kelly's game but he's a good energy guy so maybe sit him for a few every once in awhile. Watson has been awful, can't produce, can't fight, doesn't block shots as much as he has in past years, I'm fed up with him.

Love Lassi and Egor as prospects and hope it works out for them, just don't really see a place for them in this org. going forward and want to trade them while they're still valuable.

Finally on Formenton, if Doiron is being truthful when he says the contract isn't held up because of the 2018 team Canada scandal then there's no reason we can't get him on a 1 year deal under 3 mill, our bottom 6 has not been producing and he would be a big boost as a fast 20 goal scorer who can play on the PK.

Columbus has a 3 year extension with Peeke that starts next year, idk why they’d trade him now.

It depends. As we saw with Chicago they traded 3 years of Hagel and got a stupid good return

If the deal is right a trade might not be a bad thing as then Columbus can then go draft a bunch of nice guys and use others as trade bait

Like lets say they get Niemela + picks and then at the draft get Bedard, Price, and Gauthier that aint bad

Hagel is a special case because he was signed by Bowman in August and traded by Davidson in March - obviously a new GM had different feeling on his value, plus Tampa extremely overpaid for him.

The other difference is that Hagel's extension had already kicked in, while Peeke's still on his ELC this year and the extension kicks in on July 1. With Jarmo not looking like he's going anywhere, I can't see him potentially poisoning the well for future extensions by flipping out a guy before his new contract starts.

It depends. CBJ season isnt going as planned even before they were going down the injury tunnel. If he has a chance to get 2 1sts and a prospect for Peeke which he can then use in a trade to bring in someone next year along with drafting say Bedard go for it.
