Description
the samy and murray play was huge for us and it paid off so far. i can see dubas trying more of those type of plays. holmberg is looking better and better after each game, and kampf is too good to be kept on the 4th line, i think the holmberg can be just as kampf will have a bigger impact on a line whos struggling with chemistry.
Trades
1.
TOR
  1. Kostin, Klim
  2. Puljujärvi, Jesse
Additional Details:
with the douglas for timmins trade i can see dubas trading a ufa for a RFA with potential who could use a fresh start, if you look a his stats he had a great tk vs gv ratio with decent numbers. the risk isnt much since kerfoot is also struggling this year. kostin is to replace douglas on the marlies. he has high pedigree as well, hes a decent project and since we dont have many players like him, its worth it to try.
EDM
  1. Anderson, Joey
  2. Kerfoot, Alexander
Additional Details:
rentention can be done by a 3rd party team for cheap as its only 375k salary for 50%. 1.75M on paper
2.
TOR
  1. 2023 2nd round pick (ARI)
ARI
  1. Robertson, Nicholas
Additional Details:
we arent using him, and the pick is basically a late first in a deep draft, lets take our investment back and try to draft at a position of need.

if the Oilers are trading JP I doubt it is gonna be for a another 3rd liner, who wouldn't move the needle at all for us, and Klim Kostin isn't just a throw in he has actually been pretty good for us

kerfoot got 50 pts last year, hes more of a top 6 swiss army than a 3rd line, yes hes not producing right now but he can def figure it out on the oilers. also im glad to see kostin is playing in the NHL, he has the talent to make it !

I would love kerfoot for puljujarvi but the cap would have to be equal. Kostin won't be traded.
