Description
Kulikov and Jones can rotate.
Trades
1.
BUF
  1. Hájek, Libor
  2. 2024 4th round pick (NYR)
Additional Details:
Buffalo will receive NYR’s 2023 3rd Round Pick (COL), if the New York Rangers reach the ECSF.
2.
ANA
    I’m not sure what Kulikov’s value is, but I was thinking a 4th + B prospect or a 3rd. I think he would be a good TDL target for a 3rd pairing/7th D role.

Re: Kulikov-Kinda depends TBH. I'd say they'd probably ask for a similar return as the Nick Leddy deadline trade last year, but I'm not certain they'll get it. I'm not sure if last year was an outlier on the return for LD's or not, but that's where I'd be setting my price, especially considering that the Ducks can retain on all 3 major UFA's (Klinger, Kulikov, and Shattenkirk).

Honestly though-Kulikov has been the Ducks best dman this year (that's not saying much, but still). Whoever gets him will enjoy.

Sabres would be open to something like that,
*assuming we are out of the running

I think that a realistic deal for both teams would be Kulikov plus our next two fourths for one of your next two seconds and the Colorado third. Retention would be extra. And I echo my esteemed friend @Lenny7's sentiments that Kulikov has been our best blueliner so far, especially defensively, but that ain't saying much.

Yeah...... That's why it's Kulikov + Ana 23 4th + Ana 24 4th for NYR 23 2nd and Col 23 3rd. If Colorado returns to the post season the Ana 4th and Col 3rd will be something like 15 picks apart in the mid round, very minor difference in value, effectively making the trade Kulikov and a 4th for a 2nd.
