...it is nice to have dreams, I suppose...

(Seriously, tho. Three of those UFA signings do nothing useful for the Jackets because of all the wingers in the system moving up, the Voracek trade is ludicrously in our favor, and Larkin signing here is something we only say to poke back at Wings fans for years of "Werenski is destined for Detroit" nonsense.)

If Larkin was going to sign that low ball offer, He'd already be resigned now way in hell Larkin takes anything less then 8 x $9,500,000 if not more. And he won't even make it to free agency.
