Description
Saw Nashville willing to move for the right package, Olofsson has fallen out of the top 6 in Buffalo, but on the right line can be a weapon and is still obviously elite on the right dot when it comes to the powerplay. Don’t know much of where either would be valued at rn, but Fabbro being a young right handed D with the Sabres needs seems like a nice fit

Only makes sense for Nashville if they feel they can make the playoffs because Olafsson has a decent size cap number and he is a PP specialist albeit a good one, but that’s a buyers move. They also need to retain a little salary to make it work financially

I am pretty high on Fabbro, so I just think value is a little bit less than what we would need to get him. Th other issue is that NSH only has 2 real right-handed D men and we would’ve just traded one of them. We need some sort of replacement to just play minutes on our 3rd pair and then another asset on top of that player

Sabres haven't given up on Jokiharju so I don't see anything like that happening. Do a swap around those 2, maybe, but depends how the Sabres see each of their future
