Additional Details:

Bailey sent out to fit Kane in cap wise, and to clear cap next season. He is a Lou guy but this deal raises their ceiling. Adding Kane increases the offensive potential that has held this team back in recent years. Aging core succeeding should go all in, and this deal doesn't kill them moving forward either. Maybe Kane even finds a way to resign.

Sakic might be hesitant to give up the chance of a 2025 first tho.
