Description
Full disclosure I have no idea what a fair price would be for Boeser lol. Assuming it'd be high as the Jets would need a decent chunk of retained salary. Also don't know what Heinola's trade value is like, but the writing seems to be on the wall that he's probably in need of a trade outta here at this point.

This is also sort of my 'dream' line-up. With Bowness it isn't impossible like it would've been under Maurice, but nonetheless seeing Lowry's line as the 4th line and Wheeler out of the top 6 both feel improbable, unfortunately.

We would rather not retain. if we dont retain the asking price will be a lot less than you've given here. I do like Brocks fit in winnipeg tho

Would prefer to not retain on a Boeser deal. Too many years with cap constraints over and over. Maybe a smaller deal for Garland who can fit in the deadline space in Winnipeg. Heinola is talented but the coaching staff isn't even giving Rathbone a good amount of games so it's not a great fit.

The Jets should not under any circumstances give up that much for Boeser, he's simply but worth giving up a first and NHL ready defenseman for.

As @Prime_Jimbo said, Garland is a better target.

Jets can’t sell the 23 first, even in the 20s there’s scheifele/Dubois insurance or possibly a rhd upgrade. Jets need to roll 4 lines to go any where, not beating colorado on top 4 and top 6 heads up. They are going to need the blues playbook from a few seasons ago to have a fighting chance, so need for an opportunity from kids in house to be the difference.
