I think a Krav trade for picks comes before an extension, certainly with Othman becoming more and more senior in Juniors.

Laf on a 2 year bridge also scares me, i know that bridges are the way of the Rangers but cant help but think we are going to lose KK or Laf somewhere in the near future due to bridges.

of course the way to circumvent that is free-ing up cap space so arguably someone has to be traded.

or... i could be talking out of my a$$ and the cap raise enought to where we dont have to worry about this.

Other than that no complaints, maybe swap Rydahl with Pajuniemi is the only thing i would also adjust.

We’ll be able to trade trouba or kreider at some point in the very near future, HOPEFULLY Laf and Kakko develop into the players we need them to be so the trade can be justified. Some days I wish the NHL worked like the NFL where you can restructure contracts, but we all know the rangers would be ran similarly to how Jerry Jones runs the cowboys.

Don't think Krav is long for NYR- or the NHL. Can see him more likely to play in Europe next year than extend with NYR.

And reality is that Goodrow is not a top 6 player. Can play there in a pinch, but over time will be exposed and is a big weakness on that 2nd line. He needs to play on the 4th line with this team- anywhere else is an issue.
