I feel your resigning values are fair. Timmins maybe a little high yet. But I’d rather not sign Mayfield and then have Timmins on the bench. Especially with up and comers like Niemela and Hollowell.

Yeah I didn't like that either and to be honest I had the same problem on forward. Who sits? I'd like Knies, Robertson, Sandin, Liljegren, and Timmons to all play next year but this year is also showing how important depth is. I'm also tired of seeing a revolving door at 2nd line left wing. someone needs to fill that spot

Agreed, use that Mayfield money, take about 300K off Timmins and sign Samsonov instead. Timmins slides into that 3RD spot and sign guys at minimum wage for the 7/8 spots.

I'm hoping Bunting takes a 3x3 contract, or something along those lines. But I doubt it.

I might be the only one but I hope the leafs run Kallgren/Woll as their backups next year. Just bubble wrap Murray and pray lol

Have to look beyond next year. Once Murray's deal is up, are you going to want Kallgren/Woll to now be our starter and backup?

In my opinion, you get Samsonov locked into a multi-year deal this offseason. It's clear that a split with him and Murray is working, and we need to stay as competitive as possible with Matthews and Nylander in the last year of their deals next season. Can't waste their UFA year with question marks in net.
